How much salary exposed to cost of living / what amount of spendable salary is impacted by cost of living

How much salary is exposed to the cost of living difference (i.e. what amount of spendable salary is impacted by cost of living)?

The salary amount should only be the salary that is exposed to the cost of living difference. The international benchmark for host net spendable salary is 40% of the home net salary. Therefore if 60% of the salary remains in the home country and 40% is paid in the host country then the COLA, SPPP, COLI or IAM report calculation would only apply to 40% of the salary.
