Overview

Tonga, Nuku'AlofaNuku'Alofa is the capital and commercial, transport and social centre of Tonga. Nuku'Alofa is the economic hub of the country.

Tonga is in Oceania, and consists of an archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, about two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. The climate is tropical, modified by trade winds, with a warm season (December to May) and a cool season (May to December).

The official languages are Tongan and English The main religion is Christianity.
